10 Year Warranty

LUX dynamics (“LUX”) warrants the materials, workmanship, functions and finished appearance of the entire fixture body for a period of ten (10) years from the date of shipment. If within ten (10) years from the date of shipment, the fixture body fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, LUX will repair if possible or replace free of charge. Damage caused in transportation or jobsite handling is excluded from this warranty.

LED electronic components such as: LED boards and drivers, which become defective within the electronic components manufacturer’s warranty of 5 years, may be exchanged for new electronic components at: the electronic components manufacturer’s service center, the electrical wholesaler, or directly with LUX dynamics.

If a product or component in a product fails to operate properly during the warranty period, LUX dynamics will, at its discretion, repair the product or component, replace the product or component with the same or similar product at no charge, or offer a credit of the purchase price pro-rated according to the remaining warranty period. Labor costs for the replacement of defective products are never included. Products or components may be repaired with new or reconditioned components. Repaired or replaced products are only warranted for the remaining portion of the original warranty period.

With the addition of polycarbonate lenses to the IK10 and IK10P series, LUX warranties against damage by typical impacts from baseballs, golf balls, basketballs, soccer balls, hockey pucks, field hockey balls, lacrosse balls, footballs, softballs, kick balls, and other common sports equipment.

Damage caused by electrical malfunction, or conditions out of manufacturers’ reasonable control such as: (a) damage caused by accident, abuse, in handling, dropping; (b) acts of God; (c) units which have been subject to unauthorized repair, opened, taken apart or otherwise modified; (d) units not used in accordance with directions; (e) damages exceeding the cost of the product; (f) depreciated or loss of charge time; shall not be covered by this warranty.

Unless otherwise requested, LUX dynamics fixtures are rated for damp locations with humidity levels below 85% non-condensing. Fixtures specified and ordered as Wet Location Listed are rated for such environments.

In no event shall LUX be liable for labor charges arising from the inspection, installation, or changing of its lighting equipment or parts, defective or not, unless such work is preauthorized by LUX in writing. Under no circumstances will LUX accept liability or punitive or consequential damages, late penalties, or any other costs, related or otherwise. LUX reserves rights to redesign or modify any part of product without notification or liability to prior sales. Warranty service is available by shipping prepaid to the authorized service facility provided. Warranty does not cover the cost of shipping to send the product in for service.

Purchaser is responsible for safely sending the product to repair facility. Please ensure that the product is packaged and shipped securely to avoid damage in transit. LUX will not be held liable for any damage incurred in transit to the factory.

A valid copy of original invoice and Return Material Authorization are required for all warranty services.
